Clear, thick and self-healing. It does not change how the car looks — it exists to take the hits that would otherwise land on your paint.
Priced before anything is ordered or cut
Get a wrap quotePPF is clear polyurethane, considerably thicker than colour-change vinyl, engineered to absorb impact rather than to look like anything. Light scratches and swirls close up on their own with heat — sun, warm water, or a heat gun in the studio.
It does not change the colour. On a car you like the colour of, that is exactly the point.
Stone damage is not evenly spread. It lands on the bonnet leading edge, the bumper, the mirrors, the sills and the arches — the surfaces that meet the air first. A front-end package covers those, and covers most of the real risk.
Full-car PPF exists and we fit it, but for most people the front end is where the money does the most work. We will tell you if we think the rest is worth doing on your car rather than assuming it.

Before you book: a full colour change means telling DVLA and your insurer. We say so at quote stage rather than after the film is on. It is free and takes a few minutes.
The finish changes the price and changes how the car lives. Worth understanding before you pick a colour.

Drag the handle. The paint underneath is untouched — that is the whole argument for film.

Factory silver to satin green. Panels off, edges into the shuts.
Panel count and body type come from the registration. Photographs tell us the paint condition.
Film magnifies what is underneath. Chips and swirls get corrected first or they stay visible forever.
Front end, extended front, or full car. We will tell you where the money stops working.
Pre-cut patterns where they fit well, bulk cut and hand-trimmed where they do not.
Edges wrapped round the panel rather than trimmed on it, so nothing catches.
Then a few days before washing while the adhesive fully cures.
Or full bonnet — the single most chipped panel on any car.
Takes more impacts than anything else.
Cheap to cover, expensive to repaint.
Film over lenses, which chip and haze.
Where wheels throw grit.
The ones that meet other cars in car parks.
On cars that do real motorway mileage.
Light marks close with heat rather than staying.

Modern film does not the way film from fifteen years ago did. Ask which product is being quoted and what its warranty says — we will tell you both.
On a good install, barely. Edges are wrapped round the panel where possible rather than trimmed on the face, which is the difference between invisible and obvious.
The other way round. PPF goes on first, then colour change film over it where they overlap.
Yes, after the cure period. Hand wash, avoid pressure washing the edges at close range.
Sometimes not, and we will say so. On a car whose paint is already chipped, correction first or nothing at all.
No. Self-healing closes light marring and swirls. Anything through the film stays.
All wrapping is carried out at the Attercliffe unit. Collection and return across these areas.
