Privacy notice

What we collect when you enquire, why we hold it, how long we keep it — including your car’s photographs.

Build note: boilerplate shaped to this business and grounded in UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and ICO guidance. It is not legal advice — have it checked before publication.

Who we are

Foundry Wrap Co. Ltd is the data controller. Registered in England and Wales, company number 11284630, at Unit 3, Attercliffe Works, Effingham Road, Sheffield, S9 3QS. For anything about your data, email studio@foundrywrap.co.uk or ring 0114 496 0257.

What we collect

Only what we need to quote for your vehicle and carry out the work.

  • Contact details — name, phone, email and rough location, from the quote form, a call or an email.
  • Vehicle details — registration, make, model and the photographs you send. The registration also tells us the factory colour and body type from the public DVLA record.
  • Job records — the film references used, panel count, photographs taken before and after, and what it cost.
  • Website data — pages visited and how you found us, through cookies.

We do not ask for card numbers by email and we do not want them. Payment is taken in person or through a link that goes directly to the provider.

That second-to-last row matters more here than on most sites. A wrapped car is distinctive and often recognisable, so we ask before anything goes in the gallery or on social media, and we stop using it if you change your mind.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We use a small number of suppliers who process data on our behalf under contract: our customer management platform, website analytics, our accountant and payment provider, and our insurer if there is ever a claim involving your vehicle.

Cookies

This site uses cookies that make it work and, if you agree, cookies that tell us which pages people read and whether an advert led to an enquiry. Refuse the optional ones and everything still works.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it where we have no legal reason to keep it, restrict what we do with it, send it to another provider, or stop marketing at any time. Email us and we will respond within one month at no charge.

One honest limit: where a record is kept because HMRC or the Limitation Act requires it, we cannot delete it early even if you ask. Portfolio photographs are different — those come down whenever you want.

Complaints

Tell us first — it is usually something we can fix the same day. If you are not satisfied you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
